As with all compilations of short stories, some are better than others. Yet there are lots and lots of little gems here. Many Discworld characters revisited, like the wonderful DEATH, and Granny Weatherwax. And non-Discworld treasures too. Pratchett is a genius with names - like the Rt Hon Maurice Dancer. I can definitely identify with 'the blissful period of existence' known as plinki. As Pratchett tells us, "It is defined quite precisely as that interval between waking up and being hit on the back of the head by all the problems that kept you awake the night before; it ends when you realise that this was the morning everything was going to look better in, and it doesn't." A great way to round off my sojourn in Pratchett's world.
