Library staff talk books
"I really enjoy novels which are set in more than one time period and with two or more seemingly unconnected sets of characters. I find it interesting to see how the author gradually links the two periods together and how events and characters from a period in history can impact on the present day.
My favourite author who writes in this style is Lucinda Riley and in particular the Seven Sisters series, but if like me, you have read all that has been published you may find some of the following, written in this style, of interest:
The Lake House – Kate Morton
The Smuggler’s daughter – Kerry Barrett
A Postcard from Paris – Alex brown
The Nurses of St Croix – Diney Costeloe
Last Letter Home – Rachel Hore
The Hourglass – Tracy Rees
Sleeper’s Castle – Barbara Erskine"
